We drive change, at work and in communities. We do this by unlocking the ambitions of business for a fairer society using programmes, events and research.
Scotland has significant socioeconomic issues, but also some of the most innovative, exciting and ambitions businesses in the world. Our members are keen to harness their significant resources in a movement to build a stronger, more resilient and productive country.
Why join Business in the Community Scotland?
Joining the Prince's Responsible Business Network in Scotland is a visible commitment to responsible business practice.
Working in connection with other businesses and with the public and third sectors, Business in the Community Scotland is a force for good that makes a positive difference in schools, communities, workplaces and supply chains across Scotland. Doing responsible business also helps your business to win work, develop skills, strengthen relationships, reduce your environmental impact, increase your brand profile and recruit and retain a skilled workforce.
If your business is operating in Scotland, we’re here to help.
We work with our members to help them manage, measure and communicate their responsible business practices and by doing so achieve commercial aims determined by their business priorities.
Tailored support to help you progress
Translating business values into company behaviours is important for companies of all sizes. If you're just starting out, we can assist you to analyse your current CSR activities, even if you don't recognise them as such! We run a range of programmes that you can get involved with straight away. If your company is already active, we will support you in aligning its activity with your vision, values and business goals and ensure you get the most out of it in improved reputation, customer loyalty, access to new business and more.
We will also assist you to share your insights and expertise on CSR with a wide audience of likeminded organisations. In 2016, we created a National Action Plan for Responsible Business, led by business and with the support of government for the our common good. By getting involved, you could be part of this exciting new plan which will create transformational change in Scotland.
