Performance reporting

We work with companies to help them identify how and to whom they should be reporting. We take into account what information companies have available and work closely with clients to develop reporting frameworks suitable for the long term.

Developing suitable reporting approaches and report reviewing

Communicating responsible business performance publicly enables companies to build and maintain trust amongst people who matter. Regular and structured reporting helps ensure that transparency is maintained and gives companies the opportunity to engage with issues that are important to their stakeholders.

We also provide formal and informal feedback on public reports based on recognised international frameworks including the following:

  1. GRI Sustainability Reporting Framework
We support the use of this framework, which enables organisations to measure, understand and communicate their economic, environmental and social impacts to a range of stakeholders.

  2. Integrated Reporting Framework
BITC has partnered with  with The Prince's Accounting for Sustainability (A4S) to support member companies on their journey to integrated thinking through the use of the Integrated Reporting Framework.

An integrated report is a concise communication to investors about how an organisation’s strategy, governance, performance and prospects, in the context of its external environment, lead to the creation of value in the short, medium and long term.
