Unique education programme launches in Reading
Business in the Community's flagship education programme, Business Class, was launched in Reading on Wednesday 11th January 2012. Hosted by Prudential, the event marked the official lunch of business class in the town.

Hampshire businesses help the homeless move on at Christmas
Businesses across Hampshire have helped support the homeless in their local communities through taking part in the 2011 Business in the Community Christmas Gift Appeal. The appeal supported local charities Two Saints and YOU, who both provide support services to the regions homeless.

The Prince's Rural Action programme supports dairy sector
A new initiative to support the British dairy sector has been launched today by The Prince’s Rural Action Programme, a Business in the Community (BITC) campaign. The project aims to support 100 farms with the objective of reducing the decline in the number of dairy farms by improving their profitability.

Schools, colleges and universities around England will work together on 14 November 2011 on the first ever national Student Finance Day. The campaign aims to ensure prospective students understand how the new student finance package works before they make a decision as to whether they can afford to go to university.

Cooking on a Giro for South East HRH Ambassador
Temperatures rose in Southampton on Tuesday 30th August as the first ever ‘Cooking on a Giro‘competition was held at Patrick House a homeless hostel run by Two Saint’s. The event was attended by Business in the Community’s South East HRH Ambassador David Cook.

The South East Awards for Excellence Ceremony kindly supported by Audi UK was held at the prestigious Audi quattro rooms, Brentford on Wednesday 15th June 2011. The 2011 Awards for Excellence recognise the significant impact that the winning companies have made to positively transform the communities in which they operate through their responsible business practice.
