Stephen Barthorpe
Group Corporate Responsibility Manager, MITIE Group PLC
Stephen joined MITIE Group as Corporate Responsibility Manager in 2005. He is responsible for implementing the Group’s CR strategy across the UK.
Prior to joining the company he was a Principal Lecturer at the University of Glamorgan for 14 years; researching, publishing and teaching strategic management related topics including corporate social responsibility and environmental issues.
Prior to his academic career Stephen worked in various senior management roles in the construction industry – both in the UK and in Zambia.
