Tim was appointed as Network Director, Commercial Banking, Lloyds Banking Group in March 2009. He is responsible for the profit performance of the Commercial Banking network in England, Wales & Scotland, comprising 350k customers and 2500 multi-site staff. He is also accountable for the Bank’s SME strategy in specific Key Markets – Healthcare, Agriculture, Legal & Professional Practice, Property & Education.
Tim is a member of the Commercial Banking Executive Team and is chairman of AMC Plc – an Agriculture Mortgage business wholly owned by the Lloyds Banking Group. For the past nine years Tim has represented a number of the Groups SME interests to the Government and media organisations. Tim has particular experience in the Agriculture, Land use & Environment sector and has led the Bank’s growth in this market for the last 10 years.
Tim has worked in business and finance for over 20 years and, prior to joining Lloyds TSB in November 1999, he was a Regional Director of Genus plc. He has a first class Hons. degree in Agriculture, and an MBA from Newcastle University. In 2004, he was awarded an Associateship of the Royal Agricultural Society.
Away from work, Tim has a number of outdoor interests including hill walking, cycling and rugby – now retired from playing; he is a qualified rugby coach and manages a junior team at Dursley RFC. Tim is married with two children and lives near Stroud in Gloucestershire.
