BITC's Education strategy

Education is a critical responsible business issue for companies – and the one that is consistently rated as the most popular topic for corporate community involvement.

Education is consistently rated by members as the most popular topic for corporate community involvement.

The landscape of business-education links has become complex and confusing, with mutually overlapping and competing initiatives. Companies new to this area find it difficult to navigate.

There is also a growing widespread realisation that business-education links are not always as effective and efficient as they might be. Bob Wigley on his appointment as Chair of the Education Leadership Team secured the pro bono services of McKinsey to carry out a review of BITC’s educational offering.  The McKinsey review and the Annual BITC Members surveys by Mori and Databuild confirmed some gaps in members’ perceptions of what BITC has to offer as a partner in business-education links.
