What are the Beacon events?

With access to subject experts and an inspiring network of peers, the Beacon events enable you to:

  • discover how other companies are addressing environmental risks and maximising market opportunities in innovative and effective ways
  • share learning on key environmental issues
  • develop solutions to improve your own company’s performance

Each Beacon is hosted by a leading company, and involves a tour of a featured environmental project, a seminar to discuss findings and a ‘question and answer’ session. At the end of a visit, a Summary Report is produced with specific details of the Beacon and detailed background on the issue concerned.

For more information on attending a Beacon or becoming a Beacon host company, please contact Leah Davis on 0207 566 8678.

Past Beacons

Past Beacons have been hosted by companies including Barclays Bank and Severn Trent, and have covered issues including carbon management, product stewardship and biodiversity.

Are you a Beacon company?

Beacon companies not only show leadership on key environmental issues, but are willing to host a Beacon event and share their best practice with others.
