The Environment Index
The Environment Index is the UK’s leading self-assessed corporate environmental benchmark and is a stand-alone module of Business in the Community’s broader CR Index. It gives companies a framework to compare environmental performance with peers, and can be used as:
- an internal management tool to understand a company’s environmental impact and identify gaps in performance
- a communication tool to demonstrate to investors, employees and other stakeholders a company’s commitment to continuous improvement
