About us & our board
We stand for responsible business
Business in the Community has a growing membership of companies in Wales from SME's to large corporations. We work closely with more than 100 companies in Wales, and touch hundreds of others through our programmes and campaigns. We do two things:
We ask our members to work together to transform communities by tackling issues where business can make a real difference.
We offer our members practical support and help them to integrate responsible business practices wherever they operate.

We help all sizes of organisations in both the public and private sector, integrate responsible business into their day-to-day operations. We have a number of flagship campaigns and programmes that we use to engage companies both individually and collaboratively, often working in partnership with business, the third sector and government.

Our continued success over the past 20 years is due in no small part to the drive and commitment of our Wales Advisory Board, chaired by Graham Edwards of Wales & West Utilities. We also convene leadership teams that work collaboratively to tackle various issues on a regional and sectoral basis.

Responsible business leadership is about making strategic decisions that add to the bottom line and investing in products and services that meet future need - and doing so without compromising long-term business, environmental and social sustainability.
