Responsible business practice is achieving commercial success in ways that honour your values and protect people and the planet.
The Wales Small Business Offer has been designed to ensure you maximise the benefits of being responsible.
The Wales Small Business Offer is a fantastic way for small companies in Wales to be part of the Welsh responsible business community. Want to find out more about what it means? Check out these videos from some of our Wales Associates!
Paul Fear Photography
After over 23 years working in the engineering sector, Paul took the plunge and set up his own commercial and industrial photography business in 2013.
Photography has been a passion since of Paul’s, since he was 13, and whilst working in industry he took photographs of installations and equipment that were then featured in technical publications worldwide.
When he established the business, he took the decision to provide his services to charities free of charge. Being nearly 50, Paul has a grown up family and his eldest son, Greg, has special needs. Subsequently, Paul and his family have been involved with many charities such as Ty Hafan and Touch Trust and he wanted to give something back.
“Being a responsible business, for me, means that I’m looking at my surrounding community and seeing how I can give my skills to them, to improve what they are doing. There are too many businesses who are just chasing the pound that they stop doing everything that’s right.” Paul Fears, Paul Fears Photography

I would thoroughly recommend engaging with Business in the Community to any small business that is out there. Being a responsible business is more than just having a badge or a title and Business in the Community can really help you bring clarity to the work you are probably already doing.” – Louise Batten, Capital Network Solutions
