Our regional awards identify and celebrate businesses, organisations and individuals who are who are making a positive impact  in the West Midlands.

The Kraft Foods West Midlands Community Impact Awards 2011

These awards recognise kraft logoindividuals and companies who have volunteered their time, skills and experience to make a sustainable impact in the community.  

Collaborative Action Award

Recognising business collaborations that are pooling efforts and sharing resources to address the challenges facing society.

ProHelp Award

Recognising a company who has provided probono services to local community groups through ProHelp.

Employee Volunteer Award

Recognising an employee who has created the most sustainable impact on disadvatnaged communities.

Recognising an employee team who has made the most sustainable impact in disadvantaged communities.

START Award for Engaging Employees in Sustainability

 Recegnising businesses/organisations that have developed processes or programmes to enable their employees to lead more sustainable lives at home and work.

START Award for Low Carbon Communities

Recognising communities that are successfully reducing their carbon footprint and helping people live more sustainable lives.

Winner: Northfield Eco Centre

Marks & Spencer Sieff Award

This award recognises an individual based in the community who has collaborated with business to benefit society.

Gillian Sneddon, Shropshire County Council

 

The Prince's Ambassador Award

This award goes to to an individual whose leadership and commitment to sustainable business has resulted in changes and improvements inside their own company and who have also inspired other organisations to take action. The Prince's Ambassadors are asked to retain their tenure for two years to enable them to establish greater links and create a lasting impact through their role.
