Eligibility for the Awards

Generally speaking, every category of the Awards for Excellence 2008 is open to all members of Business in the Community, and to any other private sector company* that has a business presence in the UK. The awards are not open to social enterprises, voluntary sector organisations or public sector bodies, except those that are members of Business in the Community.

Entries are welcome from businesses of any size, including individual business units of larger organisations. There are certain exceptions to this general rule (for example, reflecting the fact that climate change is a global issue, the Man Group International Climate Change Award is open to companies from aroung the world - not just those with a UK presence), details of which can found in the conditions of entry included in the application packs.
