What actions are May Day Network members taking?
Following the first May Day Summit in 2007, May Day Network members were asked to report back on the actions they were taking on climate change. 207 members submitted a case study in the 2008 report back, helping to share best practice across the May Day Network.
Which companies reported back?
In the 2008 report back, out of the 207 May Day Network members who reported back on the activities they have taken on climate change:
- 51% measured their carbon footprint AND reported on it
- 41% of reported carbon reduction targets
These 207 companies are now entititled to use the prestigious May Day Network logo to support their climate change communications, and to demonstrate their commitment to tackling the issue.
