The All Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) on Corporate Responsibility (CR)
All Party Parliamentary Group on Corporate Responsibility (APPG on CR) was set up in 2001 by a group of backbench MPs and Peers. This was in response to a 2001 survey that revealed a lack of awareness and understanding about responsible business in parliament. Chaired by Baroness Greengross, the Group's main aim is to promote debate and understanding of corporate social and environmental responsibility among parliamentarians. Business in the Community provides the secretariat to the group, which is an officially registered all-party group in Parliament.
