Manchester Arndale teaches the facts
Between Monday 18 June and Sunday 1 July, shoppers at Manchester Arndale will get the chance to see a unique exhibition on climate change, which is currently touring the UK.
Glen Barkworth, general manager at Manchester Arndale comments: “Manchester Arndale has been attempting to reduce its carbon footprint for some time. Every month it recycles at least 1 tonne of paper, saves around 30,000 litres of water and recycles at least 7 tonnes of glass from its nightclub and restaurants.
“Even though the government are constantly encouraging the public to get on board to reduce their carbon footprint, a lot of people don’t actually know how to do this. This is why exhibitions like this are so important, as they provide valuable information which shoppers do not always have access to.”
