Aim of The Prince's Seeing is Believing

The Prince's Seeing is Believing provides a powerful personal experience and ensures responsible business is recognised as integral to successful business behaviour. Each event involves visits to community projects, schools or prisons, hosted by a senior business leader on behalf of HRH The Prince of Wales.

Overall, an experience that would benefit any member of a UK Company Board as the visit is a very effective means of education about the realities of a two tier society - and how business can do something about it.

The aims of the programme are to:

  • promote effective examples of how business leaders can shape society through their actions, both inside and outside their businesses
  • ensure that responsible business practice is seen as an essential ingredient of business success by today's and tomorrow's business leaders

The programme introduces participants to places and people they would otherwise be very unlikely to visit. This provides a valuable insight and a new understanding of the role of business in society.

Each visit highlights a particular issue that has a direct implication on the success of businesses in the UK, such as education, crime, employability and social exclusion, and participants will be able to learn from successful projects and existing business engagement that are having profound effects on those issues.
