Awards for Excellence

The 2008 Awards for Excellence North West winners have now been announced!

The Big Tick is awarded to all companies entering the awards that can demonstrate a high standard of excellence in the way they organise and integrate their responsible business practice. In 2007 a total of 257 Big Ticks were awarded nationally, with 90 of those being reaccreditations.

The awards are open to all businesses regardless of size, including organisations that are not members of Business in the Community.

Out of the 268 entries to the Awards for Excellence this year, 106 companies received a Big Tick with 24 of these being in the North West, a 40% success rate.
