Cornwall ProHelp

Cornwall ProHelp began in July 2004 in partnership with Cornwall Rural Community Council and as the name states, covers all areas of Cornwall.  Chris Lingard, Senior Partner at Follett Stock solicitors agreed to be the chair and a total of 15 firms agreed to join.

Since 2004 a further 4 firms have joined and as of 31 December 2006, 75 requests have been dealt with and over £89,000 of inkind support has been given to local projects.

There have been 3 ‘ProHelp in Action’ roadshows around the county, where firms have attended and members of community organisations have been invited to come along and meet the professionals and see how the can assist with their projects. A further 3 workshops are planned for Jan- Mar 07 in order to achieve a greater span of assistance.
