Graeme Yorston
Chief Operating Officer
Graeme Yorston joined the Principality Building Society as Chief Operating Officer on 3rd July 2006. He was appointed to the main Board in October 2007. As Chief Operating Officer at Principality Graeme has accountability for all of the Building Society operations including distribution, marketing, IT and operations. In addition to running the core Building Society, Graeme also has responsibility as part of the Executive Committee at Principality for overseeing the Group functions within the Principality Group, including subsidiary companies Nemo and Peter Alan.
Prior to joining Principality Graeme had 31 years experience in Financial Services with Abbey National where he carried out a number of senior roles including Regional Director for Branches, Director of Sales for the Call Centres and CIO for the Retail Bank. Graeme has led a number of significant strategic change programmes in his time including one of the largest CRM implementations in Europe.
As well as being a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Bankers, Graeme also holds a Masters degree in Business Administration from Warwick Business School, and a member of the UWIC School of Management Advisory Board.
