ProHelp in Yorkshire and Humber

ProHelp is a national network of over 800 professional firms who make a difference in the community by offering free advice and support to local community groups and voluntary organisations.  ProHelp is delivered through 32 local groups across the country with member firms, both large and small, undertaking one-off projects and contributing to advice surgeries and workshops.

Yorkshire and Humber ProHelp has 101 members, last year the firms provided £280,000 worth of professional support to voluntary organisations in need within the local community.

The ProHelp Award is for the most pro-bono professional time given in relation to the size of firm. The winner of Regional ProHelp award for 2008 is Harrowells solicitors based in North Yorkshire.

Yorkshire and Humber ProHelp is working in partnership with Charity Bank and Keyfund Yorkshire supporting further economic, social and environmental regeneration in deprived and disadvantaged communities.  

  • Hull & Humber ProHelp

    Hull & Humber ProHelp group is chaired by Sir John Mason CBE of Mason Baggott & Garton and currently has 26 members. Last year firms provided £20,000 worth of professional support to voluntary organisations in need within the local community

  • North Yorkshire ProHelp

    North Yorkshire ProHelp is chaired by Philip Lewis Ogden, Partner at the legal firm Harrowells based in York. The group consists of 29 members. Last year member firms provided £ 97,000 worth of professional support to voluntary organisations in need within the local community.

  • South Yorkshire ProHelp

    South Yorkshire ProHelp group is chaired by David Pollard, Managing Director of I-AD Marketing and currently has 26 members. Last year member firms provided £48,000 worth of professional support to voluntary organisations in need within the local community.

  • West Yorkshire ProHelp

    West Yorkshire ProHelp is chaired by Paul Stone, Partner at the legal firm DLA Piper based in Leeds. The group consists of 20 members. Last year member firms provided £112,000 worth of professional support to voluntary organisations in need within the local community.
