Spreading Good Practice and Providing Support

The Workwell campaign has been developed by business for business. By creating opportunities for organisations to come together to share learning and celebrate success, we’re developing a robust knowledge base and building a community where businesses can learn and benefit from each others’ experiences.

Our peer learning programme – comprising workshops and webinars– plus our toolkits and resources provide a comprehensive package for employers across all sectors who want to support their employees to flourish. All draw directly on the experiences of businesses that are already working to promote wellness and engagement, and are endorsed by the world-famous business school at Cranfield University.

In this section, you can access all these resources, learn more about the annual BITC Workwell Summit and find out how to enter the Workwell Award for Excellence. You can also read more real-life examples showing how businesses are working to promote wellness and engagement.

“Everyone has access to the same information, so making the most of human capital is fundamental. Think of it this way: if you are a manufacturer with the same production line process as everyone else in the world, what can you do to gain a competitive advantage? It starts with your people. They are what will give UK plc an edge over competitors.” Miles Templeman, Director General of the Institute of Directors.
