Better Relationships

Better relationships, both inside and outside work, will have a significant impact on wellness and engagement. Employers can promote social health – defined by Towers Perrin as covering work relationships, balance in both work and personal life, equity, fairness, respect and social connectedness – by encouraging good communication and creating opportunities for employees to build stronger social networks at work and at home.

BITC's Public Reporting Guidelines on Employee Wellness and Engagement provides a public reporting framework for organizations aligned to the four quadrants of the BITC Workwell Model.
