Better Specialist Support
Early intervention and proactive management of physical and psychological health issues are key to wellness and recovery. Employers can provide targeted specialist support through occupational health and HR; but line managers and employees should also be given training to help them recognise the early signs that someone may need additional support and take appropriate action.
BITC’s Public Reporting Guidelines on Employee Wellness and Engagement provides a public reporting framework for organizations aligned to the four quadrants of the BITC Workwell Model.
