For community

We provide community organisations with a mechanism for accessing help and support from business.

For Volunteers

Our businesses support the local commmunity through the time and skills of their employees who are given time to volunteer in the community, usually for a one-day project which could involve:

  •  an environmental project such as clearing, landscaping or planting
  •  painting and decorating
  •  organising seasonal parties or day trips
  • supporting schools

To apply download the Application for Volunteers (492 kb) [doc] or contact the Community Manager relevant to your area.

For Professional Services

Our professional firms engaged in ProHelp help disadvantaged communities by providing their support Pro-Bono (time limited free advice )  to community organisations in fields such as marketing, legal advice, architecture, business planning and accountancy.

Find out how ProHelp works, the type of support we provide and whether we can help your organisation. To apply for support please complete the Application Form on the right of this page. To apply download the Professional Services Application Form December 2010 (209 kb) [doc]  or for more information contact the Community Manager for your area.

For Homelessness Agencies and Hostels

In the Yorkshire and Humber region, our employability work is focused on the Ready for Work programme. We work with businesses who support those who have previously been homeless or are at risk of homelessness to provide them with training and work experience that will enable them to seek employment. Many of those completing the programme enter long term employment as a result.

Ready for Work operates in Sheffield. For further information please contact 0114 201 3307.
