Business Unusual - Making it happen sponsored by ASDA and Marshalls

On 9 December 2011, 120 delegates joined us for our national environment conference Business Unsual - Making it happen. This sell out event, which took place in Leeds, built on the success of our 2010 Business Unusual conference.

Feedback was very positive with 95% of delegates rating the event excellent or very good, and 98% of delegates rating the speakers and relevance as excellent or very good. Comments included:

  • ‘Unusually for a full days conference it was not possible to select one speaker over another. All had something interesting and engaging to say, and all presentations were of the highest standard, there was so much packed into the day.’
  • ‘Hearing these speakers was hugely insightful, and showed how organisations that you have never heard of, or initially consider to have little credibility can amaze you.’
  • ‘Good chance to interact and an excellent and interesting opportunity to learn from others - very inspiring'
  • ‘When I asked the question after the first Business Unusual conference ‘How to we make it happen?’, I didn’t expect such a comprehensive answer!
