Allison’s career began at London Stansted Airport in 1984 when she joined the travel industry working in the private aviation charter sector for five years, until joining the British Airports Authority in 1989 working in a number of operational roles across the business.

In 2009 Allison became the Health Safety and Environmental Advisor with responsibility for departmental areas including Airside Operations and Security, the Airport Fire Service, Retail & Travel Services, and the Property Department, bringing her into contact with key stakeholders including employees, subsidiaries, subcontractors & business partners numbering over 10,000 staff in total.

As the policy lead and site coordinator of the Vision Zero Health and Safety Strategy at London Stansted, Allison has ensured the key aims and objectives of the Programme are aligned to both stakeholder requirements and local community activities, striving to improve further the health, safety and wellbeing of employees across the site. Allison is married with two teenage sons, and in her spare time enjoys walking in the West Country, researching local history, and entertaining friends and family at home.
