Christine Gaskell has been a member of the Board of Bentley Motors Limited, with responsibility for Personnel, since 1995. She has been involved with the motor industry for almost all of her working life.
As Bentley’s Board Member for all personnel she is responsible for over 4,000 employees worldwide. Christine acts as an Ambassador for the National Apprenticeship Service in the North West and in January 2012 she was awarded an MBE in recognition of her work to promote apprenticeships.
Christine plays a key role in regional economic affairs having recently been appointed as Chair of the Cheshire and Warrington Local Enterprise Partnership. In addition Christine is Chair of the Trustees of the £650m Rolls-Royce and Bentley Motors Pension Fund, a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (FCIPD), and the non-executive Chairman of Total People training company. She is a Vice President of The London Sinfonia Orchestra and on the Board of the Hallé Orchestra.
Christine is married and lives in Manchester. In her spare time she loves reading, music, theatre and travel.
