Edward is Director of Policy and Public Affairs at BCSC (British Council of Shopping Centres), responsible for the organisation's public policy and government engagement programmes.
Previously Edward worked for the British Retail Consortium (BRC) where he led on property and planning campaigns. Prior to working for the BRC, he worked in the civil service for four years in the Department for Constitutional Affairs and the Department for Trade and Industry.
Edward is a highly regarded commentator on property related matters, regularly contributing to the public policy debate in his thought provoking blog written exclusively for Estates Gazette and he has also given evidence to Government Select Committees on the subject.
Edward has an MSc in Public Policy from UCL.
