Michael has been with PWC for over 18 years. He currently holds the position of Director in the Consulting practice at PWC and leads the Skills business. Michael has recently led on the design of PWC's Professional Services Higher Apprenticeships programme as well as focussing on resolving issues in the public sector, education, training, and international development. Currently, he is at the heart of PWC's work on Employer Ownership of Skills that involves driving the organisation in taking a lead on workforce developments and skills requirements for the wider professional and business services sector.
Michael has led numerous strategic research, policy and delivery assignments for most government departments and agencies in Northern Ireland and the UK. These include projects aimed at establishing the linkages between public buildings and the performance of those occupying them: reviews of leadership strategies across Northern Ireland, England and Wales; and also reviews of school funding. A number of these projects have involved the preparation of submissions to HM Treasury on the main issues.
