Pam Webb is Head of the Zurich Community Trust, a registered charity funded by an annual gift of profit from the Zurich UK businesses and personal donations from staff. Her role includes leading the four current major programmes focusing on isolated older people, breaking the cycle of drug addiction, young people’s mental health and helping to build capacity of NGO’s in southern India through business assignments.
Pam’s role also includes leading the Zurich Cares employee involvement programme and the Openwork Foundation funded by members of staff and self employed financial advisers working for Openwork Ltd across the UK. These programmes combine fundraising, volunteering and grant giving. Each year they raise in excess of £1 million from staff and advisers and engage over 40% of Zurich’s UK workforce in volunteering.
Pam also currently chairs the London Benchmarking Group and is a member of the Board of Trustees for the Association of Charitable Foundations.
