Rhys has spent 15 years at Bank of Scotland. He joined straight from school following A-levels, and was raised, schooled and still lives in Flintshire.
Over 12 years he has risen from an administrative clerk, worked within the Litigation, Bankruptcy, and Collections and Risk area's of the finance arm of the Bank, right through to his current position of Director.
He has responsibility for 160 staff, and aims through continuous improvement model, to coach and develop his colleagues, to ensure customers are treated respectfully and fairly, and that their strategies suit changes to the economic environment.
Rhys is involved in the integration of his area within the Lloyds Banking Group, and is working closely with BITC and Saltney Ferry CP School to improve standards and links between Businesses and the School.
