Sam has been a partner in Monitor Deloitte, Deloitte’s strategy consulting practise, since 2006.
Sam works primarily across the Telco, Media, Technology and Education sectors, developing purpose inspired, digitally orientated growth strategies. He has also held a portfolio of firm management positions including acting as CSO for the UK firm and practice lead for Monitor Deloitte in EMEA.
A current focus and developing interest is the creation of enterprise value through connection with the Sustainable Development Goals. Recent work in this area includes authorship of a paper assessing the impact of the mobile industry against the SDGs, as part of an extended engagement helping the GSMA develop a purpose for the mobile industry; and development of Deloitte’s global purpose proposition.
Prior to 1998 when he joined Deloitte, Sam did an MBA at London Business School, worked in Tanzania for 6 years with VSO and then PwC, and began his career in IT with Accenture.
Outside of professional life, Sam spends his time across his passions of family (3 girls), sport and Tanzania.
