Steff Wright

CEO, Gusto Group Ltd,

Principal shareholder and CEO of Gusto Group Ltd, comprising Gusto Construction Ltd (contractors), Freerain Ltd (rainwater harvesting), Gusto Development Ltd (residential developers) and architectural practice Studio G LLP and Party Time Ltd (leisure industry). An associate director and ex-Chairman of Lincoln City FC.

Following a Grammar School education in Retford and Newark, and gap-year experience in a London Theatre, further education was undertaken at Basford Hall College leading to a Diploma in Building.

Founded the construction business in 1983 which evolved leading to its incorporation as a Limited company in 1998. Substantial energy was put into achieving a thorough understanding of the requirements and techniques for sustainable construction, which has become one of the business' key strengths.

In 1999 Gusto Group's Millennium Green development in Collingham, Nottinghamshire, became the first mainstream residential development to incorporate a full range of energy saving and sustainable technologies whilst aiming at the mainstream house buying market. This and subsequent developments have been used as exemplar schemes giving the Gusto Group a national profile in relation to building low carbon homes, an area where the company continues to play a leading role.

The group's Freerain business was developed through having a requirement for a high quality UK specific rainwater harvesting system. Freerain has subsequently played an important role in developing the UK rainwater harvesting association, which is now the voice of the industry.

Studio G LLP is a small but flourishing architectural practice, which again has benefited from Gusto Group's experience in sustainable construction and now undertakes design and planning projects for a wide range of clients.

Steff invested in and joined the Lincoln City FC board in 2000 and was Chairman of this financially sound community focussed Club from 2005 to 2010.
