Access the Buyer is a programme designed by Business in the Community and supported by Santander UK to help SMEs engage with large businesses and create jobs. This event will bring large companies (Buyers) with a commercial interest and spend in the Food and Drink sector together with SMEs and will feature a combination of presentations, purchasing insights, debates and interactive breakout sessions.
BITC’s Access the Buyer programme comprises a series of free events supported by Santander UK. The event in Swansea will bring together Buyers (Virgin Trains, Castell Howell, Castle Leisure and AF Blakemore & Sons) from the Food & Drink sector with SMEs to:

The Food & Drink event in Swansea will include debate and discussion about the challenges of accessing buyers, engaging with them and operating responsibly in the sector. There will also be opportunities to hear from the Buyers on how they want to work with SMEs – so come prepared to talk about yourself, your company and your products!
