Our June Forum, kindly hosted by Wales & West Utilities, will focus on the important role procurement plays in the promotion and embedding of responsible business into the Welsh economy.
The discussion will also touch on the value of responsible business when pitching / bidding for work, particularly from the public sector. With the introduction of the Wellbeing of Future Generations Act and the Welsh Government’s New Economic Contract (in Prosperity for All), every organisation in Wales is having to think differently about how it procures and provides goods and services.
Our Members’ Forums are the main vehicle for sharing best practice with and between member companies and providing opportunities to debate these and other pressing issues. With the topics identified by our members, the Forums embody the business-led approach that is taken by BITC Cymru.
The Forums cover a broad range of topics from HR to employee engagement and from measuring community impact to building responsible business strategies. Our Forums are ideal opportunities for Members to discuss openly the challenges and issues they are currently facing.
Join us, and special guest contributors (details tbc), in June to discuss these issues and more.
Please note this is a member only event and that spaces are limited to two representatives per organisation. If you specifically require additional attendees, please speak with firstname.lastname@example.org.
