Circular Economy and the Finance Sector

Time: to

Venue:
Lloyds Banking Group
25 Gresham Street

During Responsible Business Week 2015, Lloyds Banking Group is hosting a breakfast event in partnership with Business in the Community and PWC. This event will enable participnats to discuss the role of the finance industry in delivering the circular economy with companies that are driving this re-thinking of waste and resources.

The need for circular production is urgent, as we only have limited raw materials left. And the benefits of circular production and circular solutions to waste are now becoming too attractive to ignore.

At this event, guests will hear from experts in this area and the companies embracing a circular economy business model and why the finance sector is beginning to fund circular economy infrastructure projects.

There will be an opportunity to debate the compatiblility of sustainability and profit, and discuss what the circular economy means for the finance sector.  Guests will also take part in deep-dive table discussions exploring the competitive advantages for your business of adopting a more circular model and a means for organisations to find practical solutions in this area.
