HR Director Dinner: A holistic approach to good work

Time: to

Birmingham - exact details to be confirmed

Attendees at this dinner will hear from Salary Finance and Shakespeare Martineau about how to create a business environment that supports employee financial health and resilience, the essential elements to include in a financial wellbeing initiative and how staff engagement and development is critical to a thriving workforce.

There are more people in work in the UK than ever before but falling wages and rising job insecurity has led to a sharp decline in the quality of work. More than 1 in 5 workers now face precarious employment conditions that mean they could lose their work suddenly. Even with a job, 1 in 8 UK workers are living in poverty.  A study by the Money Advice Service concluded that nearly 17 million working-age people in the UK have less than £100 in savings - that’s 40% of the working population1.
A holistic approach to good work helps employees improve their financial wellbeing, gives greater job security and increased development and progression opportunities which can have a transformational impact on employee wellbeing and performance.
The evening will include a three course dinner.
