See how your business or charitable/voluntary organisation can reap the rewards of a mutually beneficial partnership.

Benefits to a business of attending

Come and hear from the best and most committed thinkers and doers from the charity/voluntary and business sectors in the Bristol area to hear how working in partnership is a win-win.

Working with local communities gives you the opportunity to do everything from developing the skills of your future workforce so that you can recruit the employees you need, to enhancing the leadership skills of your current employees.

You’ll hear case studies from responsible business leaders such as Gilly Woo about how working with their local communities has benefited their businesses, while community organisations such as Go Green will tell the other side of the story to demonstrate the benefits of the voluntary sector and businesses working together in partnership.

You’ll also have the chance to take part in a workshop about what successful business and community partnerships look like, delivered by EDF Energy, Rolls Royce and John Lewis. Another workshop will focus on how to build sustainability in your company in the light of the world’s diminishing natural resources.

You’ll meet (and be interviewed by!) some of our fantastic Business Class pupils whose lives are being transformed by businesses who are partnering schools in some of the most challenged parts of our communities. As you will see, the pupils are wonderful examples of the power of business and community partnerships
