We all love to talk. And when it comes to young people getting the right qualifications and finding their way into work, there’s nothing better than a meaningful, real conversation.
The Real Conversation brings together employers, key decision makers and young people to talk openly and honestly about careers, finding work, training and qualifications.
All sides of the debate need to get better at listening and understanding and by getting involved in an interesting and stimulating debate, everyone will be more informed and better decisions can be made.
The event is highly interactive and will provide a mix of free and facilitated roundtable discussions. To make this event as successful as possible, we need a mix of people from different backgrounds and areas to be involved – so spread the word!
As part of the event, BITC Wales will be preparing Career Boards (as shown above) based on the experiences of key representatives of each business that attends – and one thing you’ll notice is that no career path is ever straightforward.
The event is coordinated by the Welsh Government and supported by BITC Wales. There’s more information on the Welsh Government website, or you can also contact the BITC Wales team about how to get involved by emailing them at email@example.com or by calling on 029 2078 0050.
