An Annual Resilience Day, hosted by Business in the Community's The Prince's Business Emergency Resilience Group (BERG), in collaboration with HR Wallingford, an independent civil engineering and environmental hydraulics organisation.
This year's event will see the launch of 'Would you be ready?' - a high profile project aimed at changing the behaviour of smaller businesses to be more resilient. Smaller businesses are the lifeblood of our communities and growing economy. Most do not have the resources in place to prepare or respond effectively to disruptions.
What the day includes:
The day includes an exciting line-up of keynote speakers from across the not-for-profit, business and government sectors on a range of resilience themes, including flooding and cyber resilience. You will also have the opportunity to take a tour of HR Wallingford's world-class modelling and simulation facilities.
Who should attend?
This event is suited to practitioners working in risk resilience, supply chains, intelligence and threat, communications or business continuity roles working with smaller businesses.
Refreshments will be served throughout the day
The event will take place during Business in the Community's Responsible Business Week.
Responsible Business Week (23-27 April 2018) is an annual awareness campaign which celebrates the brighter side of business by sharing great responsible business success stories.
