Business in the Community Wales is participating in a free workshop session being run by the Carmarthenshire Association of Voluntary Services (CAVS) and the Pembrokeshire Association of Voluntary Services (PAVS) which will provide insights into the different approaches to environmental policies which can make real changes to your organisation and potentially save money.
This free workshop has been designed to help charities, voluntary and community groups to find ways to improve their environmental bottom line. It will help organisations consider new ways of saving money and resources, and provide insights into winning tenders and grants.
The morning will provide an overview of what funders and procurers want to see in environmental policies and action plans, tools to do this, how to take colleagues on the journey. In the afternoon, there will be a choice of practical sessions including toolkits for taking action, and energy reviews.
Attendees will be able to hear from Business in the Community (on the recently completed Workplace Travel Challenge) Business Wales, Cardiff University, Carbon Trust, Communities 2.0, CAVS and PAVS.
