Translating Environmental Ambition into Business Value
Are you fed up with doom and gloom stories about the economy, society and the environment? Do you feel that if we put our minds to it we can collectively build a future that we want to live in? Do you feel that business can play a pivotal role in making this happen? Are you excited at the Mayor's vision of Greater Manchester becoming one of the leading green cities in Europe and yet slightly daunted at how to make it happen?
Come and spend a day with likeminded people, hearing inspiring stories and developing practical actions that will help you and your organisation find new ways to create value by putting environmental challenges at the heart of your strategy.
Aims and objectives of the day:
- Demonstrate how tackling environmental challenges can create value for businesses, communities and the economy, sharing learning from Greater Manchester, the North West and beyond.
- Showcase practical ways to unlock these opportunities, helping to identify a business roadmap that contributes to the ambitions launched at the Mayor’s Green Summit in March.
- Create opportunities for existing and new collaborations to connect and innovate together.
Morning refreshments and lunch will be provided.
Who should attend?
Sustainability, Supply Chain, Facilities and HR managers; Heads of Department; Director Level Managers.
