The Southampton Hub CSR Network brings together local businesses and partners to share best practice in employee engagement whilst exploring how collaborative action can be taken in supporting communities across the city and wider Solent region.
During the Hub's first year it has a number of successes in supporting employers with their employee engagement programmes, whilst addressing some of the key challenges facing local communities.
The benefits of attending Hub meetings include:
A chance to share best practice in community investment and promote employee engagement opportunities.
An opportunity to network with local peers who have responsibility for CSR / community engagement within their roles.
A learning and development opportunity for staff.
As we enter the second year of the Hub Network we will be using the findings from the GeoVation PowWow to focus future activity. Our first session in 2014 will cover:
Looking in Spotlight - A discussion on the opportunities and benefits of developing employee engagement programmes.
Looking out Spotlight – A discussion led by our Southampton Business Connector on how to unlock the potential of sharing business skills with the local voluntary sector.
An update on local BITC programmes and events.
