Wales Action Week, coordinated by Business in the Community (BITC), will use the power of business volunteers to tackle some of the fundamental issues that people are facing in Wales today.
Building on the huge success of Give & Gain Day 2014, where over 1,200 employees from Welsh businesses volunteered to work on projects across Wales, BITC will be again working with companies to share their skills, enthusiasm, passion and knowledge with local communities.
Employee volunteering is an excellent way for companies to provide opportunities to develop organisational and communications skills. Businesses will not only benefit from improved team morale and an engaged workforce, but they will also have a chance to give something back to local communities in Wales.
Are you a business looking for a chance to share your skills, expertise, enthusiasm and passion with a local community group that is helping to address some of the fundamental issues people are facing in Wales today? Or are you a community organisation with a project that would benefit from additional support from business volunteers? We want to hear from you!
Please contact the Wales Action Week team directly so we can discuss your project in brief and how we can promote it to businesses.
