Discuss how to embed the sustainable development goals (SDGs) within commercial purpose and strategy to reap the business opportunities of Agenda 2030.

In Autumn 2018 Business in the Community (BITC) in partnership with Deloitte, will be launching an insightful report to assist businesses of all sizes embed the sustainable development goals (SDGs), also known as the Global Goals, within commercial strategy and purpose, to reap the business opportunities of Agenda 2030. Following the launch, we will be running a series of workshops across the country and online to share the findings of the report and form business groups to discuss alignment of the SDGs with respective business priorities.
This event is dedicated to senior practitioners from various departments to come together and form working groups, to discuss how to embed the SDGs within their departments through the guidance of the research and collaboration. We suggest companies send two senior practitioners, from different business functions, to aid understanding and discussions following the workshop.
The aim of the event is to discuss the report’s findings with senior practitioners from influential organisations and generate impactful discussions on how to strengthen engagement with the SDGs through internal and external stakeholders. By doing so we hope to inspire strategic planning on the SDGs at a practical level.
