Businesses and volunteers

If your business would like to get involved in Ready for Work, please contact Nicola Burton

Work placements

Structured work placements provide invaluable experience for people facing barriers to work.  Your company can make a difference by offering a two-week placement.

Job coaching

Core to the post-placement support we offer, job coaching is an excellent opportunity for employees interested in volunteering.

Pre-placement training

Training is an essential part of our programme.  Your business can be involved with Ready for Work by providing volunteers or rooms to delivery training.

Ready for Work club

Businesses can help run regular drop-in sessions to keep people motivated and focused on their journey to employment.

More ways to get involved

Our Employment for Excluded Groups work is led by a group of businesses. Senior leaders from our national partner companies provide strategic support, helping us to achieve our goals and significantly improve the prospects of disadvantaged groups across the UK.

Lead the agenda

Sponsorship and other opportunities

There are many other ways in which your company can help us to support people from disadvantaged groups into work. You can sponsor our programme participants, develop cause-related marketing campaigns, provide pro bono consultancy, or donate to further our work. Contact Nicola Burton to find out more.
