The Employment for Excluded Groups Leadership Team drives the over-arching strategy to directly helping homeless people, refugees, ex-offenders and others facing barriers to work gain and sustain employment as they are the ones that face the most barriers when it comes to employment. As a result, the leadership team are:
- Driving the strategy for other businesses to work closely with Business in the Community’s Ready for Work programme or through the employers’ own employability programme.
- Making work more accessible and sustainable to people from excluded groups through their companies’ recruitment and HR policies, e.g. by implementing the Ban the Box campaign.
