Dr Vedat Mizrahi holds a medical degree from Istanbul University where he studied after attending the Saint Michel college in France. He specialises in Family Medicine, a Occupational Health, and holds a double major in Business Administration, and two separate Master of Science degrees in Health Institutions Management and in Occupational Health and Safety.
Dr Mizrahi was appointed to the role of Medical and Occupational Health Director Unilever Europe in 2013. Before being appointed to this position, Dr Mizrahi was Medical and Occupational Health Director for Unilever North Africa, the Middle East, Turkey and Russia having joined Unilever in 1998.
Previously, Dr Mizrahi was the Physician in Chief of two large International Healthcare chains.
Dr Mizrahi is also a member of:
- The International Commission on Occupational Health (World leading organisation in this field)
- The Board of Medichem
- The Occupational Health Physicians association
- The International Association of Physicians for the Overseas Services
- The International Society of Travel Medicine
As well having published various articles on Occupational Health Dr Mizrahi holds various roles in associations of OH Physicians' networks and contributes to guidelines and books in this field. Dr Mizrahi has a special interest in Mental Health and Wellbeing in the Workplace.
Over the years Dr Mizrahi has obtained many personal and collective team awards representing Unilever as a company including the 2015 Business in the Community Award for a Mental Wellbeing Programme, the Unilever highly prestigious Compass Award and the Unilever Medical & Occupational Gold Award.
He is married and has one daughter.
