Having worked in the industry for over 10 years, Emma is Acting UK Head of Sustainability at JLL, a global professional services company specialising in real estate. She is responsible for the company’s sustainability leadership position in the marketplace and with clients, working to deliver its “Building a Better Tomorrow” sustainability ambition, driving internal environmental and social performance across the estate and workforce.
Emma is also a Director in the Upstream Sustainability Team, assisting clients with embedding sustainability across all stages of the property process, and advising at board and asset-level level on the business risks and opportunities associated with environmental, social and economic issues. Emma has worked with a number of the UK’s leading real estate investors, property companies and house builders, as well as industry and government bodies, most notably sitting on the MEES working group to advise government on the 2015 Energy Efficiency Regulations.
Emma is a member of the UK Executive and the UK Building a Better Tomorrow Board. She also represents JLL on the British Property Federation Sustainability Committee and Business in the Community’s Circular Economy Taskforce.
Emma has a BA (Hons) in Business and Management and an MSc in Sustainable Development from the University of Exeter.
