Gareth Rondel is Head of Group Corporate Responsibility for Kier, a construction and services company.
Gareth’s role is to continue to integrate Kier's strategy for a sustainable business - Responsible Business, Positive Outcomes - into everything we do.

Gareth is working closely on:
Embedding the strategy for sustainable business into Kier’s business plan to 2020. Vision 2020 sets out the growth and financial aspirations for the Group which Responsible Business, Positive Outcomes will support through its range of non-financial targets.
Manage the production of the Group Annual CR Report and the CR Section of the Group Annual Report & Accounts.
Coordinate Kier's contribution to various indices and benchmarks such as the FTSE4Good and the Business in the Community CR Index.
Produce and implement new policies and processes/protocols across the CR programme, from business ethics and human rights to equality and diversity and sustainable procurement in close association with the pertinent Departments such as HR; SHE; legal, procurement.
Work closely with the individual business streams to offer them professional guidance and advice on their CR strategies and programmes
Previous employment included Galliford Try and Willmott Dixon, both construction and service focused businesses, Anglian Water and the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds.
